Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s scenic Shenandoah Valley, Two Generals Farm is a 275-acre haven of rolling pastures, riverfront beauty, and quiet purpose.
Owned and operated by Drew and Susan Sims, the farm is bordered by both the Maury River and Buffalo Creek, offering a landscape as rich in history as it is in natural splendor.
At Two Generals Farm, the Sims family combines their lifelong love of animals and the land with two heartfelt pursuits: breeding exceptional Labrador Retrievers and providing a peaceful retirement home for show horses.

They bought the property in 2018, drawn in by the rolling pastures, wide-open skies, and the feeling that this place was meant for something special.
Drew and Susan live in Williamsburg, Virginia now, but the Shenandoah Valley has always felt like home. Drew went to Washington & Lee University and graduated in 1979, and it was during those college years that he and Susan first met. Their ties to the area run deep, and coming back to build something meaningful here just made sense.
Animals have always been at the heart of their lives, so shaping the farm around them was an easy choice. Drew and Susan plan to raise and breed dogs with care and intention, and they’re excited to offer a safe, comfortable place for horses to be boarded and looked after like family.
